American hard rock band, Stone Sour, who released their sixth studio album Hydrograd on June 30, 2017 via Roadrunner played the premiere date of their latest tour on Jan 27 at Abbotsford Centre. Support was provided by Pennsylvania rock band Halestorm who released their third studio album, Into the Wild Life, on April 14, 2015 via Atlantic and Nashville-based alt rock band The Dead Deads.

California-based punk rock band The Offspring, who released their ninth album, Days Go By, on June 26th, 2012 via Columbia, performed at Abbotsford Centre on July 7th as part of their tour with ska punk legends Sublime with Rome, who released their second album, Sirens, on July 17, 2015 via BMG and ska punk band Mad Caddies, who released their sixth album, Dirty Rice, on May 13, 2014 via Fat Wreck Chords.
