"Extreme metal band Skeletonwitch, who released their fifth album, Serpents Unleashed, on October 29th, 2013, performed at the Rickshaw Theatre in Vancouver last night with death metal band Nylithia, who released their newest album, Hyperthrash, on November 21st, 2015, progressive metal band Skull Vultures, who released a self-titled seven inch on June 6th, 2014, thrash metal band Gross Misconduct, who released their newest album, The Disconnect, on November 11th, 2011, hardcore band WTCHDR, and more!"

Aug 2, 2016 - First of all, shout to Jamie Edgar for setting up the joint-photographer shoot!  We had tried to organize something in the past but unfortunately it was near impossible to find a model so we ended up photographing each other.  Luckily this time, Jamie introduced me to Chantal and she was absolutely amazing in front of the camera (and also a total sweetheart!)  

It was super interesting to see how another photographer interacts with their models - Jamie pays such a close eye to detail, knows how to make such precise adjustments and always has an idea of what he wants in his head.  Myself on the other hand, am completely more passive in regards to posing,  am more into throwing ideas out and basing my adjustments based on the model's personality and energy.  Neither are wrong, but just different ways of approaching your subject - and I think it works out great for the both of us!

Four Year Strong // The Cobalt

August 14, 2016 - Small photoset - not my proudest set but was a nice show and change of pace in venues.

Four Year Strong had just gone through Warped Tour and have been continuing on in Canada throughout August with Vancouver being the first stop.  Their fifth and latest record, self-titled Four Year Strong was released on June 2nd, marking four years since their previous 2011 effort.
