Sara [Portraits] // Lynn Canyon

June 25, 2016 - Overdue for another portrait shoot and we decided to try hitting up some water.  Sara, obviously being the champion that she is, volunteered herself - so her, Shaylene (as always!) and myself hit up Lynn Canyon.  Normally not crazy busy throughout the year but I had forgot that the kids were out of school - leaving the area fairly packed and a little awkward to start haha.

Flash forward, I found myself about chest-deep in the water trying to get some shots (my 70-200 zoom is still in shambles) but I think some of them turned out quite well!  Sara was seriously an MVP for dealing with sitting in the brisk mountain water!  Check out the photos below:

Levitation Festival Day I // Commodore Ballroom

June 17, 2016 - Reblog from Aesthetic Magazine.

From the official Levitation website:

"Austin’s LEVITATION has grown from a small word-of-mouth event to an internationally acclaimed, full weekend event that attracts attendees from all over the world. To bring the festival to Vancouver, The Reverberation Appreciation Society partnered with Timbre Concerts, founding Levitation Vancouver in 2015.

Levitation Vancouver’s programming maintains the spirit of LEVITATION in Austin, TX, offering a wide range of international and local talent across the musical spectrum, with an emphasis on artists with an experimental and/or psychedelic edge.

Levitation Vancouver works closely with community partners to provide a safe, accessible and environmentally conscious experience for all festival-goers while championing local and independent Vancouver businesses and artists."
