Read MoreFirst time collaborating with Alex Jiggs and I'm pretty stoked on some of the images we created! Two simple outfits on a rainy day at Spanish Banks/Locarno Beach while testing out my D700 as my D610 has finally bit the dust. Alex was a pleasure to work with - I haven't laughed that hard on a shoot in a long time, and the posing came by so naturally. It started pissing rain out by the end of the shoot but I think the overcast tones definitely worked in our favour.

We had tried to organize something in the past but unfortunately it was near impossible to find a model so we ended up photographing each other. Luckily this time, Jamie introduced me to Chantal and she was absolutely amazing in front of the camera (and also a total sweetheart!)
It was super interesting to see how another photographer interacts with their models - Jamie pays such a close eye to detail, knows how to make such precise adjustments and always has an idea of what he wants in his head. Myself on the other hand, am completely more passive in regards to posing, am more into throwing ideas out and basing my adjustments based on the model's personality and energy. Neither are wrong, but just different ways of approaching your subject - and I think it works out great for the both of us!
We completed three looks, which are compiled in three separate slideshows below:

July 22, 2016 - So I had the LOVELY opportunity with working with alt-model extraordinaire Cervena Fox when I found out that she would be visiting Vancouver for the annual Fetish Week. Having never worked with an internationally-published model of such a high caliber, it was a little nerve-wracking to begin shooting but Cervena was beyond approachable and super personable, which lifted a LOT of stress off my shoulders haha.
Anyway, we decided to shoot some of the new Killstar line at Sunset Beach in Vancouver and I think we made some pretty cool images! Ladies, I'll link the clothing options below in case you're interested :).
Dress: Dion Fortune Dress
Hat: Witch Brim Hat
Bikini Set: Ceremony Bikini
Top: Black Mass T-Back Halter
Back: Black Mass Double Strap Bikini Panty
You can connect with Cervena on her social media here, where she's either usually modelling, playing with fire or being on either end of the tattoo gun:
